What makes a report useful
- Say which statement or page you mean. The Report link beside a statement fills this in for you.
- Say what you think is right, and where it is written.
- Send one thing per message. It is easier to check and to credit.
- The form takes no contact details, so we cannot reply. Put what an editor needs to check the point in your message.
What happens to your message
- We keep what you write, the statement or page it is about, the language of the page and the time you sent it.
- We do not keep your IP address or browser details, and we set no cookies. The spam check, run by Cloudflare, looks at your browser while it runs.
- Messages go into a private queue that only the editors can read. Ones that lead to no change are deleted after 180 days.
- A name you give appears in the credits only if your message leads to a change. To have it taken off later, send a problem report that names the page.
- Anything you send may be used on the site under the licence for its text and data, CC BY 4.0.
